Housing Designated Areas is comprised of several datasets that analyze a variety of housing factors to determine eligibility for many federal housing related programs. Communities of Opportunity are based off an index created from economic, health and education factors. Qualified Census Tracts are based off several US Department of Housing and Urban Development standards and those which fall within these QCT areas are eligible for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Targeted area residences are defined in section 143(j)(1)(A) to include residences in a qualified census tract. |
