<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Maryland Housing Designated Areas - Targeted Areas</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Maryland’s Targeted Areas are established by the U.S. Census Bureau, and are geographic zones inside of which there are fewer restrictions for homebuyers using the Maryland Mortgage Program.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Maryland's Counties fall into three categories when it comes to Targeted Areas. Some Counties are fully Targeted Areas. Some Counties have no Targeted Areas in them at all. Other Counties have some areas that are Targeted Areas and others that are not.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>https://mmp.maryland.gov/Pages/targeted-Areas.aspx</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>PURPOSE: This revenue procedure provides issuers of qualified mortgage bonds, as defined in </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>§ 143(a) of the Internal Revenue Code1, and issuers of mortgage credit certificates, as defined in § 25(c), with (1) the nationwide average purchase price for residences located in the United States, and (2) average area purchase price safe harbors for residences located in statistical areas in each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands, and Guam.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-drop/rp-25-18.pdf</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This is a MD iMAP hosted service.
